Micromax Dual 5 Launch

Micromax has finally launched its first dual rear camera smartphone called Dual 5 in India. The Micromax Dual 5 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED Display, and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 chipset coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

The main highlight of the Micromax Dual 5 smartphone is the dual rear camera setup having two 13-megapixels sensors, one with monochrome lens for capturing details and the other with regular RGB lens.

On the front, we have another 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size, Sony IMX258 sensor and soft selfie flash. It bears a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel which can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds. Micromax has added a new SOS feature called ‘SafeSwitch’ that captures a picture of the person and sent to a pre-selected number, whenever they try to pull out the SIM card.

The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 3200mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology that promises 0 to 95% in just 45 minutes of charging.

Connectivity options includes Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C & GPS.

The Micromax Dual 5 smartphone comes in Gold colour, priced at Rs. 24,999. It will be available via Flipkart, Micromax e-Store and through offline retail stores starting April 10.
