Micromax has launched its latest Canvas Fire 5 smartphone in India. It is the successor of last year’s Canvas Fire 4 smartphone. The Micromax Canvas Fire 5 features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB using microSD card.

The device sports a 8MP Rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP Front-facing camera with LED Flash. It has Dual Front-facing speakers and Aura 3D sound technology for surround sound experience.

The Dual-SIM smartphone packs a 2500mAh battery and runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating system. Connectivity options includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
