Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus now official with dual screens and dual rear cameras

Meizu has officially launched its much-anticipated flagship Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus smartphones in China. There were many leaks which were floating around in the internet showing a secondary screen on the back. Well, Meizu has made the leaks true by announcing it. The device also has a dual camera sensors.

Both the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus, comes with a secondary display which is an AMOLED panel. This display gives a quick glance to your notifications and has a contrast ratio of 10000:1 with a pixel density of 307ppi. This is the only feature of these devices that brings a significance to it. Other than this, both of them have a USB Type-C port and fingerprint sensors.

Meizu Pro 7 sports a 5.2-inch screen with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080). The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 or Helio X30 processor. It has 4GB of RAM and 64/ 128 GB of internal storage. On the rear, the phone has a dual 12MP f/2.0 sensor which is a Sony IMX386 with Phase detection auto focus and on the front, it has a 16MP f/2.0 sensor for wide selfies. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and comes with a 3000mAh battery.

Meizu Pro 7

Meizu Pro 7 Plus features a 5.7-inch screen with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) and is powered by a Helio X30 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. It also has the same camera of 12MP f/2.0 dual rear sensor with Phase detection autofocus and the same 16MP on the front. It boasts a 3500mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

The Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus smartphone will be available in a bunch of colours such as Black, Red, Gold, and Silver. The Meizu Pro 7 has been priced at CNY 2,880 ($425 / Rs. 27,440 approx) for the Helio P25 64GB storage variant and the Helio X30 with 128GB storage variant costs CNY 3,380 ($500 / Rs. 32,200 approx). The Meizu Pro 7 Plus comes with a price tag of CNY 3,580 ($530 / Rs. 34,100 approx) for 64GB storage and CNY 4,080 ($604 / Rs. 38,870 approx) for the 128GB storage variant. Both the phones will go on sale in China from August 5.
