Huawei P10 and P10 Plus with Leica Dual Rear Cameras Launched at MWC 2017

Huawei has finally unveiled its new flagship P10 and P10 Plus smartphone at MWC 2017 in Barcelona. The Huawei P10 features a 5.1-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD LCD Display while the P10 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD LCD Display which is slightly curved on the sides.

Under the hood, the devices are powered by Hisilicon Kirin 960 octa-core processor and runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat with the customized EMUI 5.1 laid on top. Both the smartphones come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.

The Huawei P10 sports a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel RGB sensor and a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor that takes monochrome photos with multi-level bokeh effect. The P10 has f/2.2 aperture and Leica SUMMARIT lens while the P10 Plus comes with a f/1.8 aperture SUMMILUX-H lens. At the front, there’s a Leica-branded 8-megapixel selfie camera and features an under-glass fingerprint sensor. The Huawei P10 comes with a 3200mAh non-removable battery, while the P10 Plus packs in a bigger 3750mAh non-removable battery. Also, both these phones support Huawei’s SuperCharge technology which the company claims can give you full day’s battery in just 30 minutes of charging.

  • Camera: 20MP (Monochrome) + 12MP (RGB) Dual Rear cameras with Dual-tone LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, SUMMILUX-H 27mm lenses, Laser Autofocus, OIS, support 4K video recording and a 8MP Front camera with f/1.9 aperture

The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus comes in Dazzling Blue, Graphite Black, Dazzling Gold, Rose Gold, Greenery, White Ceramic, Mystic Silver & Prestige Gold colour options. The Huawei P10 has been priced at €649 (US $685 / Rs. 45,650 approx) and the Huawei P10 Plus has been priced at €699 (US $739 / Rs. 49,200) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant while the high-end 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant costs €799 (US $843 / Rs. 56,200).

Both the phone will be available in Australia, Austria, Chile, China, Columbia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, United Kingdom and Vietnam starting from March.
