Honor 9X with 16MP Pop-up Selfie Camera Launched in India

Huawei’s Honor brand has launched its new mid-range smartphone Honor 9X in India. It features a 6.59-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD FullView display and is powered by HiSilicon’s 12nm Kirin 710F SoC with up to 6GB of RAM, runs on Android 9.0 Pie, packs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 4000mAh battery.

In the camera department, the Honor 9X has a triple camera setup arrayed vertically at the back with a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel super-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for capturing portrait shots.

As for selfies, the phone offers a 16-megapixel pop-up camera with support for 3D Portrait Lighting. The company claims that the Honor 9X has an AI Signal Enhancer technology that improves 4G signal reception by 50 percent. Connectivity options includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, GPS & GLONASS.

The Honor 9X comes in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colour options, is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage variant and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage costs Rs. 16,999. Both variants will be available via Flipkart starting from January 19.

On the first day of sale, you will be able to get the 4GB RAM variant for a discounted price of Rs. 12,999.
