ASUS has added a new smartphone to its pegasus series with the launch of Pegasus 5000 in China. The Pegasus 5000 smartphone is the successor of Pegasus 2 Plus smartphone, which was launched last year.
ASUS Pegasus 5000 features a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.3Ghz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded further using microSD card slot. It comes in two RAM variants – 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM. It sports a 13MP Rear Camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED Flash and a 5MP Front Camera. It measures 155×76.4x9mm and weighs 176gms. The Dual-Sim smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with ZenUI on the top. It backs 4,850mAh battery Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The ASUS Pegasus 5000 comes in Blue and Gold colour options and its 2GB variant is priced at CNY 1,299 (approximately $198 USD / Rs.13,350 INR) while the 3GB variant costs CNY 1,799 (approximately $274 / Rs.18,500 INR).
