ASUS ZenFone 4 Max with Dual Rear Cameras, 5000mAh Battery Launched

Taiwanese tech giant ASUS has quietly launched its first ZenFone 4 series smartphone, named ZenFone 4 Max in Russia. The ASUS ZenFone 4 Max features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display. It comes in two variants: one powered by quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor, while the other one is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor.

In the photography department, the ZenFone 4 Max sports 13-megapixel dual rear cameras with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 85-Degree wide-angle lens and soft-light LED Flash. It has a metal unibody design, dedicated microSD card slot and comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded inside the home button which can unlock the device in 0.3 seconds.

The device packs a masive 5000mAh non-removable battery that promises up to 46 days of standby time on LTE and up to 40 hours of talk time on 3G network. It runs on latest ZenUI 3.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and has OTG support to charge other devices. Connectivity options includes Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 & GPS.

ASUS ZenFone 4 Max colors

The ASUS ZenFone 4 Max comes in Gold, Black & Pink colour options and will go on sale in Russia soon. It has been priced at RUB 13,900 ($234 / Rs. 15,150 approx) for the base 2GB RAM with 16GB storage variant. Although it’s unclear when the smartphone will be made available in international markets.
