Google Releases Android N Developer Preview with Multi-window Support

Google surprises everyone with Release of the Developer Preview of their latest Android N OS. Just like the previous versions, the alphabet remains a mystery until the official launch, its just called Android N. The complete Android N version will launch at Google I/O 2016 which is scheduled to take place in May this year.

The Android N Developer Preview is available to download for Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player and Pixel C. The Nexus 5 is not listed among devices to get the developer preview. Google has announced the Android Beta Program, an easier process to try the latest version of Android on your device via OTA update.

Multi-Window Support

Finally, Android is now providing the ultimate native support for multi-window or split-screen, which means you can now multi-task i.e two applications running side-by-side at the same time. Launch of multi-window mode switcher when looking at recent apps as simple as pressing a button on the card being and you can also change the size of windows.
