Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has finally launched its first metal build Redmi Note 3 smartphone in India. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with an all-metal body and has a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes in two variants in terms of RAM & Storage – 16 GB (with 2GB of RAM) and 32 GB (with 3GB of RAM). It has an IR Blaster on the top for controlling home appliances like TV, AC and work as a universal remote.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 packs a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (Phase Detection autofocus), Dual ISP and two-tone LED flash on the back and a 5MP Selfie Camera. It measures 150x76x8.65mm and weighs 164gms. It comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back below the camera. It runs on Android Lollipop based MIUI 7. It packs a 4,050mAh battery with fast charging support and connectivity options like Dual-SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0 port, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and GPS.
Xiaomi has also announced their new app named Mi Mover to transfer content from your old smartphone to your new mi phone. The 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant is priced at Rs.9,999 while the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant costs Rs.11,999 and the smartphone will be available in Silver, Gold and Dark Grey colour variants through Mi.com and Amazon.in starting from March 9th and later will be available through Flipkart, Snapdeal and some offline stores across the country.
