Xiaomi has finally announced that Redmi Note 3 is coming to India. However, the company didn’t revealed the launch date of the smartphone.
The Redmi Note 3 has a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display and powered by a 2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core 64-bit chipset paired with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It comes in two variants – 16 GB (with 2 GB of RAM) and 32 GB (with 3 GB of RAM). Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 packs a 16MP camera with phase detection autofocus and Dual-tone LED flash on the back and a 5MP Selfie Camera. It comes with a fingerprint sensor at the of the device below the camera. It features a 4,000mAh battery and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and GPS. It runs on Android Lollipop based MIUI 7 OS.
The smartphone was launched in Gold, Silver, and Dark Grey colours. The 16 GB model is priced at 899 RMB (roughly translates to Rs 9,400), and 32 GB at 1099 RMB (around Rs 11,500). The company is yet to announce prices for the Indian market.
