Sony has announced its new smartphone named Xperia X Compact at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. The Sony Xperia X Compact features a 4.6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Triluminos Display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 64-bit processor along with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

It sports a 23MP Rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.3″ Exmos RS Sensor, Predictive Hybrid AF, 5-axis stabilization, support 1080p video recording and a 5MP Front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.06″ Exmor RS sensor, 1080p video recording. The device measures 9.5 mm thickness and weighs 135 grams. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button.

The smartphone packs a 2700mAh battery with Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Connectivity options includes Single Nano SIM support, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, USB Type-C & GPS.
