Panasonic has launched Eluga Ray X and Eluga Ray Max, its latest smartphones in the new Eluga Ray series in India. Both the phones have a unibody metal design, features a fingerprint sensor and comes with company’s own smart AI-powered (Artificial Intelligence) virtual assistant named – ARBO.

According to Panasonic, the new Arbo virtual assistant is a self-learning technology that learns the user’s behaviour to provide intelligent usage suggestions like prompting Settings changes and highlighting most used apps.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray X features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D Curved Glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.

As for optics, the Panasonic Eluga Ray X sports a 13-megapixel Rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED Flash. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 4000mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options includes Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB-OTG & GPS.

In the camera department, we get a 16-megapixel Rear camera with LED Flash along with a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED Flash. It also has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button below the display. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 3000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Connectivity options includes Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, USB-OTG & GPS.

Both the smartphones will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting April 17th.
