Obi Worldphone has unveiled its new smartphone, MV1 at MWC 2016 in Barcelona. The Obi Worldphone MV1 features a 5-inch 720p HD Display with Oleophobic coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 processor with Adreno 304 GPU. It comes in two variants with 1GB & 2GB Ram. Both the variants comes with 16GB storage which can be expandable up to 64GB using microSD card. It has a 8MP Rear camera with LED Flash and 2MP Front Camera. It measures 145.6×72.6×8.95mm and weighs 149gms. The Dual-Sim 4G smartphone packs 2500mAh non-removable battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Cyanogen OS 12.1. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.


The Obi Worldphone MV1 comes in Red, Black & white colour variants and priced at $139 (around Rs.9,500) for 1GB RAM variant and the 2GB RAM variants costs $149 (around Rs.10,200). The smartphone will be available in Asia and Africa from this month while it is coming to the Latin America and Europe later in March.
