From the beginning of smartphone era, Nokia is always been the most appreciated phone manufacturer because of its performance and cutting edge technology. The Finnish Multinational communication company has seen many ups and downs but eventually proved itself every time. Now the phones of the company are becoming a symbol of style and pride. After the comeback of the company in the market, the second biggest thing happening to it is because of the Putin-Trump summit.
Since 2008, G20 Summit is one of the biggest summits of which invites the wealthiest nations of the world. This year’s summit brings us a Nokia phone, one like never seen before. The summit is starting from this Friday in which the main issue is the Putin-Trump meet. Now, a Russian phone customiser Cavier has introduced Putin-Trump Summit special edition of the iconic 3310 phone, to mark the historic meeting between the President of Russia and the United States at the G20 Summit.
The phone has all the standard features of Nokia 3310 like a 2.4-inch TFT display with 240×320 pixel resolution. It has 16MB of internal memory with a microSD slot which can manage a 32GB sdcard. The phone also has a 2-megapixel primary camera with LED flash.
Cavier made it more luxurious by adding leather casing and black velvet strips. The phone’s case is made up of VT-23 grade tempered titanium and has a damask steel pattern. From the front side the phone looks sleek with its shiny black screen with gold plated rim around it. Below the screen matte grey buttons are present which are ultimately increasing the luxuriousness of the phone.
The phone also has gold-plated portraits of American President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin engraved on the back panel. According to Cavier, both the presidents are facing at the same direction which resembles common desire for progress in Russian-American relations from both the sides. Below the emblem a gold plated tag is placed on which the details of the summit are imprinted.
Apart from all the luxuries of the phone, the phone is currently available in Russia for a whopping price tag of $2,468 (roughly Rs. 1.6 Lakhs). No word whether the company has any plans of launching this special edition phone in other markets.
