Lenovo-owned Motorola has officially introduced its latest Moto E series with the launch of Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus smartphones. The Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus look exactly similar but differ in screen size, camera and battery. The Moto E4 has bigger display, better camera and larger battery. Both the smartphones have a metal design, water repellant nano-coating, runs Android Nougat and houses a physical home button which doubles as a fingerprint sensor.

The Moto E4 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D curved glass display, and is powered by the 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 425 or Snapdragon 427 processor (depending upon the carrier in the US). It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card. Motorola says that the phone will be powered by 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor outside of North America.

As for optics, the Moto E4 sports a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture and 1.12µm pixel size. On the front, there’s a 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size and 74-degree wide-angle lens.

The device packs a 2800mAh removable battery and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. Connectivity options includes Single / Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, NFC & GPS.

The Moto E4 Plus features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D Curved Glass Display, and is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 427 SoC in the US, and MediaTek MT6737 processor outside of North America. It comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage which allows further expansion via microSD card.

In the photography department, the Moto E4 Plus sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and 1.12µm pixel size. At the front, there’s a 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size and 74-degree wide-angle lens.

The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and packs an impressive 5000mAh battery that supports fast charging. Connectivity options includes Single / Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, NFC & GPS.
