After launching the high-end flagships Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL last month, Microsoft has today launched the most affordable 4G LTE-enabled Microsoft Lumia 550 smartphone in India.

The device comes with a 4.7-inch HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC with 1GB of RAM. It comes equipped with 8GB of onboard storage which can be expanded by up to 200GB. There is a 5MP camera at the back of the device while at the front is a 2MP camera. The Lumia 550 has a single Micro-SIM slot and is 4G capable. It comes with a 2100mAh battery, which Microsoft says can deliver up to 16 hours of talk time.

Unlike its higher end siblings, the Lumia 550 will not support Windows 10 Continuum feature as it does not meet the hardware requirements for the same.

It comes with a 5MP rear camera with a LED flash and f/2.4 aperture and on the front, it has a 2MP Front camera with f/2.8 aperture. Connectivity options on this device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, MicroUSB 2.0 port along with 4G LTE.
