Expanding its portfolio of budget smartphones, Micromax has added a new smartphone to its Canvas series named as Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus. It is the successor to the Canvas Mega 2 smartphone which was launched last year.
The Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus features a 6-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD IPS Display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
As for optics, the Canvas Mega 2 Plus sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
The Dual-SIM smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 & GPS.
