Indian smartphone maker Micromax has reportedly launched its new affordable 4G VoLTE enabled smartphone called Bharat 2 in India. It was recently being sold via a Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom and the smartphone has now been listed on company’s official website. However, the company has not revealed the pricing of the smartphone.

In terms of specifications, the Micromax Bharat 2 features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA Display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor. It comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

As for the camera, the device offers a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3-megapixel VGA front-facing camera for video chatting and taking selfies.

The Dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 1300mAh removable battery that is claimed to last up to 100 hours of standby time and 4 hours of talk time. Connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 & GPS.

The Micromax Bharat 2 comes in Gold colour and is said to be priced at Rs. 3,499 although the MRP on the box is Rs. 3,750.
