Reliance Retail has launched its new budget smartphone named LYF Wind 2 in India. The LYF Wind 2 features a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS Display with a pixel density of 294 ppi. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

It sports a 8MP Auto Focus Rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP Front-facing camera. The device measures 8.5 mm thickness and weighs 223 grams. It packs a 2850mAh non-removable battery which can deliver up to 9 hours of talk time on 4G networks and up to 190 hours of standby time.

The Dual-SIM smartphone comes with Hybrid Dual-SIM slot which means the second sim slot can be used as microSD card slot. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, USB-OTG support & GPS.
