LG V20 with Dual Rear Cameras, Android 7.0 Nougat, Snapdragon 820 Launched

LG has finally launched its high-end smartphone named LG V20 at an event in San Francisco. The LG V20 features a Dual display including a primary 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD IPS Quantum Display that has 513 ppi pixel density and a secondary 2.1-inch (160 x 1040 pixels) IPS Quantum Display which also comes with a pixel density of 513 ppi. The company has almost doubled the brightness of the secondary display for better visibility and 50% larger font size when compared to the LG V10. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage (UFS 2.0) that can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

It sports a dual camera setup, one is of 16MP Rear Camera with Dual-tone LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, Laser Autofocus, OIS, PDAF, 4K video recording and a 8MP Secondary Rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.4 aperture. There’s also a 5MP Front camera with f/1.9 aperture, 120-Degree wide-angle lens. It also has a fingerprint sensor embedded on the back.

The device is backed by a 3200mAh removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology and runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with LG UX 5.0+ custom skin on top. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, USB Type-C & GPS.

The LG V20 comes in Titan, Silver and Pink colour variants and will start rolling out from this month starting from Korea. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet.
