Lenovo which had teased their new smartphone earlier this month has now officially announced the launch date. Today the company has announced that the KillerNote will be launched on January 5th 2016 in India at an event held in New Delhi. Lenovo K4 Note will be the successor of K3 Note which was one of the most successful smartphone for the company. The Lenovo K3 Note had a 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6752 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM.13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel selfie camera, Android Lollipop with Lenovo’s VibeUI, 16GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card, 3,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The smartphone is still available for purchase via Flipkart for a price of Rs. 9999. It was the killer set of specifications against its pocket-friendly pricing that made it one of the best budget smartphone in 2015.
It is expected that the K4 Note will carry a price tag nearly same as its predecessor. According to Lenovo, the K4 Note smartphone will have a metal body and feature 3GB of RAM. The handset is likely to retain the 5.5-inch display size and full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) screen resolution. But sources indicated massive upgrade in the K4 Note with 32GB built-in memory and an integrated fingerprint scanner.
The Lenovo K4 Note with 3GB of RAM, metal finish and fingerprint sensor is going to rule the budget segment next year.
