Intex has added two new budget smartphones under its Aqua series with the launch of Aqua Crystal and Aqua Supreme+. The Intex Aqua Crystal features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS Display with a pixel density of 296ppi and 74.60% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 1GB of DDR3 RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

It sports an 8-megapixel Rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The device has a glass back, measures 8.3mm thickness and weighs 139.4 grams. It boasts a 2100mAh Li-Polymer battery which can deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time.

The Dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 & GPS.

It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

On the camera front, it comes equipped with a 13-megapixel Rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P Lens, 1.12µm pixel size and a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size. The device measures 7.95mm thickness and weighs 133 grams. It boasts a 3000mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time.

The Dual-SIM smartphone runs Indus OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has an integrated Hybrid keyboard that supports 9 regional languages with matra and word prediction. The same app also has a feature called ‘Indus Swipe’ which helps translate and transliterate the text from English a prefered regional language and vice versa. Connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 & GPS.

The Intex Aqua Crystal comes in Black and White colour options and has been priced at Rs. 6,990. The Intex Aqua Supreme+ comes in Black, White and Champagne colour options and has been priced at Rs. 9,490. Both the smartphones are now available for purchase at retail stores across the country.
