Huawei launched their new smartphones Honor 5X and Honor Holly 2 Plus in India. Huawei Honor 5X was unveiled at CES earlier this month. It comes with all metal unibody design and a fingerprint sensor on the back can be used to launch the apps, capture photos, and accessing notification panel.

Honor 5X


It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS Display.It is powered by a 1.2GHz + 1.5GHz Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor along with 2GB of Ram. It comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card. It features a 13MP Rear Camera and a 5MP Front Camera. The Dual-sim(one Micro and one Nano SIM) smartphone supports dual 4G connectivity. It packs 3,000mAh non-removable battery. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 on the top which will be upgraded to EMUI 4.0 based Android Marshmallow 6.0.

The Honor 5X smartphone will be available in Gold, Silver and Grey colour options. It is now available for preorder from Amazon India and Flipkart. The First flash sale to buy this smartphone will be held on February 1 at Rs 12,999.


Honor Holly 2 Plus

Moving on to the other smartphone Holly 2 plus features a 5-inch IPS Display. It is powered by 1.3Ghz MediaTek MT6735 coupled with 2GB Ram and 16GB internal storage(expandable upto 128GB via microSD card). It comes with 13MP Rear camera and 5MP Front Camera. It packs a 4,000mAh battery and also supports fast charging. The Dual-Sim smartphone supports 4G connectivity and also supports CDMA networks. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop EMUI 3.1 on the top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, and a MicroUSB port.

The Honor Holly 2 plus will be available in White, Grey and Gold colour variants. It is priced at Rs.8,499 and will be available on Flipkart and Amazon India starting February 15.
