Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has launched the Nova and Nova Plus smartphones in the new nova series at IFA 2016. The Huawei Nova features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D Curved Glass Display. It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

It sports a 12MP Rear camera with LED Flash, 1.25µm pixel size, PDAF, support 4K video recording and a 8MP Front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has a new 3D fingerprint sensor on the back that unlocks the device in just 0.3 seconds.

The device comes with Hybrid Dual-SIM (Nano + Nano/microSD card) support which means the second sim slot can be used as microSD card slot. It packs in a 3020mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with EMUI 4.1 on top. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, USB Type-C & GPS.

It sports a 16MP Rear camera with Dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, OIS, support 4K video recording and a 8MP Front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It also has a new 3D fingerprint sensor on the back that unlocks the device in just 0.3 seconds.

The Huawei Nova has been priced at €399 ($445 / Rs. 29,750 approx.) and will start rolling out from October 2016. While the Huawei Nova Plus has been priced at €429 ($479 / Rs. 32,000 approximately) and will start rolling out from October 2016.
