Taiwanese smartphone maker, HTC has slashed the price of its flagship HTC 10 smartphone by Rs. 5,000. The HTC 10 was launched in April this year at Rs. 52,990. It will now be available at the discounted price of Rs. 47,990 in the Indian market. The company recently announced that the HTC 10 will be their first smartphone to get Android 7.0 Nougat update.
The HTC 10 features a 5.2-inch (1440×2560 pixels) Quad HD Super LCD 5 Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.
There’s a 12MP (HTC Ultrapixel 2) Rear camera with Dual-tone LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, Laser Auto-Focus, 1.55 µm pixels, OIS, 4K video recording support and a 5MP front camera with f/1.8 aperture, 1.34 µm pixels, OIS, 86-degree wide-angle lens. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button below the display which can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds. The device measures 9mm thickness and weighs 161 grams.
It boasts 3000mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support that can charge 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes. It runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC’s Sense 8.0 UI on the top. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), NFC, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 4.2 & GPS/GLONASS.
