Samsung has launched the Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro smartphones in India. Both the smartphones come with India specific features such as Ultra Data Saving, S Bike mode and S Power Planning. These also have new Social Camera that allows users to add filters, stickers and instantly share photos on various social media platforms. Apart from editing and sharing photos, the users can discover their surroundings for popular photography spots, restaurants and shopping areas.

Coming to the specifications, The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max features a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD TFT Display, and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

In the camera segment, the Galaxy J7 Max offers a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, LED Flash for taking brighter and sharper shots even in low light. On the front, there’s a 13-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture, LED Flash for selfies and video calling. It has a metal unibody design, fingerprint sensor and supports Samsung Pay Mini which allows users to make payments via mobile wallets and UPI .

Additionally, the phone also has Smart Glow 2.0 LED notification ring around the rear camera that gives you alerts for notifications when they arrive.

The device packs a 3300mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box wrapped under Samsung’s custom UI. Connectivity options includes Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 & GPS.

As for optics, the Galaxy J7 Pro packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and LED Flash for taking brighter and sharper shots even in low light. On the front, there’s a 13-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED Flash.

It has a metal unibody design, IP54 certified splash resistance, Samsung Pay support and comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has been priced at Rs. 17,900 while the Galaxy J7 Pro has been priced at Rs. 20,900 in India. Both the smartphones come in Gold and Black colour options. The Galaxy J7 Max will be available across retail stores starting June 20th and the Galaxy J7 Pro will be made available sometime in mid-July.
