Apple has sent out invites for an event scheduled on March 21 at its headquarters in Cupertino, California. The tagline in the invite reads: “Let us loop you in”. It is expected that the company will launch its latest iPhone SE. Apple initially planned to call the device “iPhone 5SE”, attaching the enhanced and special edition tags to the iPhone 5s. The iPhone SE is expected to feature a 4-inch screen with A9 chipset, 12MP Camera and a slightly larger 1,642mAh battery compared to the iPhone 5s. The price is expected between $400-$500
According to sources, the new iPhone SE will have NFC Chip to facilitate support for Apple Pay. However, the device won’t get the 3D Touch, which will remain exclusive to the iPhone 6S. It will be available in 16GB and 64GB storage capacities and Gold, Silver and Space Grey colour options. If rumors out of 9to5Mac are to be believed, pricing for the iPhone SE will start at $450 for 16GB variant, the same as the iPhone 5S. It is also expected that the company will unveil the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and Smart keyboard accessories.
